In Nepal, young people (age group 16-40 years) account for 40.68% of the population, a demographic favourable long-term investment. Each year about 500,000 young people enter the workforce, many with both education and skills to support 21st century businesses. Even though, the participation of women in business has been lower than men, more and more women are breaking the traditional barriers and are in jobs and vocations once believed to be the domain of men. Engaging more women in business is needed for attaining inclusive development, which is required for attaining broad-based sustainable growth.
